lawn

we forged pathways through the unruly lawn, a pursuit of sprites in a lively game of tag leading us to a cluster of majestic oak trees. these trees, plump with their own narratives, murmured unhurriedly, attempting to engage minds moving faster than sap on a winter’s day.

ship’s late wake, a witch’s cry,
drowning depths, a silent sigh

ocean’s grasp, no escape found,
arrived past time, sorrow’s bound

windmill

    once, windmill chasing in meadows of forgotten songs,

   melodies lingered, then forgotten as we dove into soft streams

·

Sharp bark of the black wolf, and it was again time to go

mouse

in the desert’s scorch,

mouse forages with hunger’s pull,

haze blurs the true way

·

on the shifting dunes,

mouse persists without a pause,

guided by its goal

highway


upon the highway’s silver ribbon,
i journeyed to where the mountain meets the sky,
a dialogue whispered in the wind,
where roads of earth and dreams entwine
