∴
why should I bear such allegations questioned the fox
·
these tiny mouse murmurs in the night, this false proclamation,
for innocence is my cloak, truth my vocation,
a sly reputation, but no malevolent aspirations
·
through your labyrinth of accusations I tread,
yet unseen, unheard, in shadows widespread,
seek not the villain where darkness is cast,
for in your moonlit drama, my innocence will outlast
·
and with that the fox fades into the night,
a riddle for those who may question his plight
