storm clouds tucked inside—
lone dragonfly ∴

∴ yon stars
fusion’s fire burns bright
sun forged light ∴

∴ heartbeat
pulses slowly—in rhythm
with the trees ∴

∴ hare tails
rhythmic gray flash—in morn mist
flopsy chase ensues ∴

∴ whip-poor-will calls
dark chorus fades
sunrise swallows night ∴

∴ wind-carved verses
time etches lines on stone
stillness holds truth ∴
