∴ this wasn’t the book she ordered; instead, a tome revealing ancient ensorcellments entwined with nature’s healing · each page resonated with the mountains’ rhythm, awakening dormant magic within her · intrigued, she traced the pages, wondering if she could mend more than what she read ·

in the quiet anticipation of her lover’s return, she pondered the possibility of these spells also holding uncharted depths into their connection · for they too shared the spirit of the wild ∴

muskmelon

∴ winter’s gift bestowed,
lips taste sweet, ripe nectar’s flow,
muskmelon’s delight,
nature’s frost, a fleeting kiss,
season’s essence on my tongue ∴

intellectual

∴ in intellectual realms, i do explore,
within pages’ depths, seeking answers galore ·
guided by math and science’s radiant beam,
yet love’s touch unveils life’s truths, it would seem ∴
