in shadows deep
∴
in shadows deep, a creature lies in wait,
on forest’s edge, its hunger unabated,
its eyes ablaze, with appetite elated,
for scrumptious souls, it longs to satiate.

heartbroken dreams amidst its bustling throng,
unaware of lurking danger, they belong,
