∴ amidst summer’s seething blaze,
a coyote roams arid land,
seeking respite ·
enduring parched earth
and shimmering horizons,
it carries the spirit
of the untamed wild ·
a testament
to adaptability,
it serenades
the desert,
awaiting cool whispers
of night ∴
