primordial cracks in earth—
fire bends, reshaping ∴

∴ wicket bat—ungloved
solstice spirits heat the glass
argent fingers, warm ∴

∴ horned purity
beast surrenders to tender charms—
moves through twilight ∴

∴ flicker of shapes shift
caught between fire and dark—
eternal they hold ∴

∴ eldritch winds howl—
drama’s storm gusts tear the air
truth or tale in squall ∴
