∴ souvenir of light—
drifting lanterns, memories
moon fades to dusk ∴

∴ wild skies cradle me
my journey flows through the stars—
home calls from their light ∴

∴ train sighs through the night—
soft paws rise and fall with breath
dreams curl into mine ∴

∴ unburdened by things
complaints tempered by fire’s edge—
steel forged for the soul ∴

∴ skerries jag the mist
paddling to your salt-worn call
waves summon the way ∴

∴ hop beneath still earth—
dawn clings close through breathèd weight
roots cradle the gleam ∴

∴ blizzard—
threads whirl and shimmer
sky’s spindle spins ∴
