plop 2

∴ 

by water’s edge, a curious sight,

a force that beckons, both day and night

·

with a sudden plop, unsuspecting souls vanish,

gone they are, a mystery we can’t manage

tech witch

in th’ city’s gleam, a tech witch roams,

‘er spells are data an’ memes she combs ·

·

no brooms, just drones in flight,

in screens, she casts ‘er byte 

·

in tech’s embrace, she’ll cast ’er dream,

a modern witch with codes agleam

in shadows deep

in shadows deep, a creature lies in wait,

on forest’s edge, its hunger unabated,

its eyes ablaze, with appetite elated,

for scrumptious souls, it longs to satiate.

·

beyond the trees, a village teems with life,

heartbroken dreams amidst its bustling throng,

unaware of lurking danger, they belong,

to fate’s caprice, where peril’s cut like a knife.

·

yet with the moon’s eclipse, the creature roams,

a spectral wraith, its form concealed, departs,

through silent steps, in shadows, it embarks,

each breath it takes, a shiver in your bones
